There is clear evidence that Christmas cheer is in abundance as The Falmouth Beach Hotel has reported a bumper year on bookings for its Christmas celebrations this year. The hotel has been inundated with enquiries and bookings for its extensive Christmas programme, dispelling any negative feeling that people may be cutting back on their Christmas spending this year. Incorporated in the programme of festivities is an extra special Christmas lunch menu served daily throughout December, which includes turkey and pork reared locally on Cornish farms and locally sourced seasonal vegetables. The restaurant also welcomes regular visits from Santa who finds time out from his busy schedule to visit guests during lunch service! The festive season hits full swing with its Christmas Party Nights followed by its New Years Eve Party which is the highlight of the season. New Years Eve celebrations include a sumptuous gala dinner, live entertainment and Fireworks display on the beach at midnight. Throughout the New Year the hotel hosts its infamous Alternative New Year Party Night celebrations which run through to Valentines weekend. The hotel’s resounding success is largely down to a dedicated local following, which means that both Christmas Party Nights and Alternative New Year’s Eve parties are always booked to capacity with many guests booking next years party before they leave. “We look forward to the Christmas season” says David Glover Hotel Manager, “Many of our guests return each year and it’s lovely to welcome them again and have the opportunity to host their Christmas celebrations, we are proud to provide the high level of service and quality entertainment they’ve come to expect from us. We like to end the year with a bang and host our fantastic New Year’s Eve Fireworks display over the water on Gyllyngvase beach. Along with our party night guests we welcome local people to join us as a thank you for their continued support. “
