Is Your Marketing Legal? 24th Feb Breakfast Seminar
Hello All!
A reminder (if you haven’t already!) to book your place at Murrell Ashworth’s breakfast seminar on Wednesday 24th February (8.00 – 10.00 am) at the Hall for Cornwall to get an insight into the latest regulations and legislation that impacts business development activities.
“How legal is your sales & marketing?” is the firm’s first seminar of 2010 in which they will explore the legal aspects of which many business owners are unaware, such as:
Katie Ashworth will be presenting on the key areas of law that impact business communication, including how to avoid getting into the minefield that is misrepresentation. Murrell Ashworth have also secured Mark Stuart, Head of Research for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and local Chartered Marketer, Sue Windley to present.
Mark will be providing case study examples to highlight where businesses have gone wrong and what they can do to get it right, including Consumer law, “Greenwash” and potential impacts of the Olympics Act. Sue will then focus on easy methods to measure marketing output against investment so you know how to get more bang for your buck - legally!
Seminar + Breakfast costs only £10 per person, of which a sizeable donation will go to Penryn-based charity BF Adventure which supports disadvantaged children. You can book your place by contacting Murrell Ashworth’s Office Manager, Caroline Marshall-Hamilton on 01872 226990 or e-mail: caroline@murrellashworth.co.uk.
