Cornwall Business Week events
Next week it's Cornwall Business Week. Working with the key local Chambers, Cornwall Development Company and Business Link we have encouraged activities to highlight the importance of private business in Cornwall. Highlights for us include:
'Redruth Goes Global' - so-called because of the scale of exports from the area, the day features advice for small businesses.
Penzance Outdoor Art - with artists of all kinds painting throughout the streets to encourage you to explore the town and use your local businesses.
Debate on the future of St Austell- hosted by St Austell Chamber of Commerce at St Austell Cinema, this event seeks to answer the quaestion "why isn't St Austell more imporatant?" With 5 key presentations and plenty of time to discuss, ask questions and eat lunch, this debate will connect strategic bodies with the local community. £10 to attend; tickets available from Stachamb@btconnect.com.
Our very own Business Fair which includes a business-to-business exhibition and free seminar programme - well worth spending an hour checking it out.
Put Your Business On The Map - Falmouth businesses getting together on the Moor in Falmouth, armed with business cards, to put their compnay on the big map of Falmouth. The idea is to show how much business is happening in and around Falmouth.
Fun days in Newquay, Camborne, St Austell and Redruth designed to encourage people back into our town centres.
The week offers plenty of opportunities to highlight your business. It also offers us all a chance to demonstrate the scale and importance of the private sector in Cornwall - get involved where you can!
