Cornwall Chamber's Charity Birthday Ball Prizes
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce is getting excited for a first: its charity ball. This year it happens to celebrate 30 years of business togetherness in Cornwall
In two weeks’ time the business community will get together for an exciting evening of glitz and glamour and full entertainment at Newquay’s Atlantic Hotel. The Cornwall Chamber Charity Birthday Ball has been created to celebrate 30 years of Cornwall Chamber bringing business together.
The birthday ball will culminate in a charity auction for the Chamber’s Charity of the Year 2018/19: Cornwall Air Ambulance. The Chamber has sourced some fantastic prizes – from hotel stays to meals and days out, there will be a variety of great gifts on offer, just in time for the festive season, which total over £2000 of goods and services with some priceless offerings. The auction will raise money directly for the New Heli Appeal.

Guests are invited to don their finest ballgowns in a riot of colour and celebrate business togetherness in style. Prosecco will be served on arrival, followed by a two-course dinner with wine. After dinner, guests will be invited to the balcony to see Green Wave Laser put on a laser show, incorporating images of the helicopter and more. To end the evening, the auction will begin with ex-Newlyn auctioneer Robin Turner after which guests can take to the floor with the Chamber staff and get on down to sounds provided by DJ in Cornwall.
Tickets for the ball are priced at £70 to include food, drink and entertainment and the Chamber is offering a special rate of a table for ten at just £600, so think about which of your staff or clients you could treat.
