• Your Best Supporter: Cornwall Chamber of Commerce

Cornwall Chamber of Commerce supports, inspires and connects businesses in Cornwall & Scilly. Supports? Yes, we’re your biggest supporters, your ultimate fans!

We believe in the power of businesses to create jobs, prosperity and innovation. As such, we do everything we can to make it easy to do business here; helping business owners and colleagues be ambitious, forward-thinking and outward-looking.

We support businesses and business people striving to be the best. Whether it’s the best innovator, best exporter, best employer, best Cornish citizen, best window cleaner, best chef, best boss or best apprentice, we support you all, we chant songs in praise of your endeavour.

In a region of small businesses like Cornwall, sometimes each company does not have the financial resources, the time, the knowledge, the full-world picture to do all the Research & Development that is needed to keep you ahead of the game. So, we advise and facilitate you working in clusters (Kim Clusters, perhaps – or was that a Belgian tennis player?), with our cutting edge universities, with the LEP and with like-minded organisations across the Great South West and way beyond. Collaborations in an internet-connected world might be anywhere: you just need to find them – and we can help. Cornwall Chamber is part of the largest business support group in the world.

In Cornwall, we organise Masterclasses in various skills for you to improve your ability - usually free, we run Trade Horizons, Large Enterprise Action Group, Growth Business Forum, Cornwall Lenders’ Forum and are launching Entrepreneurs’ Circle all to support you as part of your Chamber membership. And we have great speakers and thinkers to support your business and your employees.

We also support your ambitions to be good corporate citizens.

More and more, the Chamber hears Cornwall’s business owners leading the way in what 21st Century business values should be. In Cornwall, most business owners are embedded in their communities. We look after our colleagues because our kids probably play football or are social media friends with our colleagues’ children. And do we love Cornwall? We do. So we look after our place. This sense of place drives our business behaviour. The Cornish way of doing business is the 21st Century way:  thoughtful of your people and your place, competitive and collaborative, determined and resilient, digitally-enabled, global and local, happy and gritty.

We support you! Let me know how we can best help your business.
