Join Cornwall Chamber as we host the best (in our opinion) Breakfast Club in Cornwall. We will be featuring some of the greatest speakers while tucking into a local Cornish breakfast.
We are delighted to bring you some of the top speakers from across the country and they will be joining us virtually to inform and inspire our Members and Non-Members. You will also get the chance to enter breakout rooms and network with other attendees.
We do not want you going hungry! So, with every place booked we will be supplying you a FREE local Breakfast Box. Working with The Cornish Food Box Company, we have options for everyone including Vegan & Gluten Free.

Miles Carden, CEO Falmouth Harbour Commissioners
Falmouth Harbour is a globally unique place with a stunning natural environment. Miles will be discussing how can we fully realise the potential of Falmouth Harbour for Cornwall, as a key part of a new Blue Economy Strategy and a bold post COVID-19 recovery plan.
Miles background
Miles has worked in the public and the private sectors and has a proven track record of delivering award winning major regeneration projects.
A Chartered Surveyor, Miles has worked in the property industry within Cornwall for 30 years. Starting as a commercial property surveyor with Miller and Co in 1987, Miles then moved to English Partnerships in 1995 and then later transferred to the South West RDA to deliver and fund regeneration, employment space and land development projects. Working on projects such as; The Eden project, National Maritime Museum Cornwall, The Combined Universities in Cornwall, St. Austell town Centre and St. Austell Urban Village. In 2006 Miles went to Priority Sites Ltd a private sector developer delivering employment space projects throughout Cornwall
In 2010 Miles joined the Newquay Cornwall Airport Team in the Cornwall Development Company and led and progressed a major programme of investment to grow an aerospace cluster at Newquay Cornwall Airport. This culminated in the award of Enterprise Zone status in August 2011.
From 2017 Miles led the delivery of the £36m Spaceport Cornwall project the UK’s horizontal Space Satellite launch site a unique opportunity to attract investment, technology research and development, growth, and jobs to Cornwall Airport Newquay.
Miles became CEO of Falmouth Harbour Commissioners in January this year. FHC manage Falmouth Harbour in Cornwall and are responsible for managing over 16 sq miles of harbour and the economic and environmental sustainability of the Port of Falmouth, helping to shape its future.
As a trust port, Falmouth Harbour Commissioners have no shareholders or owners. A Board of Commissioners is appointed to oversee the running of the harbour in accordance with a set of duties and powers.
