Allister Young - Chief Executive
Coastline Housing
Allister is Chief Executive of Coastline Housing, an independent charitable housing association and one of the largest providers of affordable housing in Cornwall. After studying Physics at the University of Edinburgh he qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. His previous roles include Assistant Director of Finance at the Peabody Trust and Director of Finance & Resources at Tree Aid (an African development charity). He is also a board member of PlaceShapers (a national movement of community based housing associations) and at Truro & Penwith College, and a member of the Cornwall Strategic Housing Group and the National Housing Federation?s Sustainability Strategy Group.
Greg Slater - RIBA | Head of Design, Decarbonisation & Environment

Greg is an architect with 30 years? cross-sector development experience as well as a background in economic development. He set up and ran the London office of a large South West-based architectural practice and was on the board. Since moving to Cornwall, in 2010, he has been a commissioning client responsible for a number of well-known sustainable developments across Cornwall. He is Head of Design, Decarbonisation & Environment for Treveth and also Vice-Chair of Cornwall Education Learning Trust.
Christian Silk - Head of Strategic Infrastructure Planning

Christian is Head of Strategic Infrastructure Planning and specialises in all aspects of planning and environmental law. He is also a chartered town planner. Christian advises on the planning and environmental aspects of development consent orders, complex consenting strategies, use of compulsory purchase powers by statutory bodies and the settlement of compensation claims, including references to the Lands Tribunal, drafting and negotiating terms of Planning Agreements for strategic development sites including urban extensions, preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and High Court challenges, contaminated land liability advice, corporate responsibility and environmental compliance regimes.
