Due to Covid restrictions the CSA award ceremony will be a virtual event this year and will involve a keynote speaker, a film about the nominees, a presentation of the awards and a mini quiz / ‘best dressed’ (or other) competition. We hope all participants will join us in making this year's online event fun & uplifting.
The agenda will be as follows:
13:00 Welcome & Introduction. Dr Dan Bloomfield (Chair), Tevi
Explanation of CSA partners and Tevi’s involvement.
Reflections on the last 2 years; CSA review, new website, new categories, Covid impact and subsequent nomination process for this year and application process for 2021.
Introduction to audience participants. A quick overview of the range of companies attending and explanation that there will be an opportunity to network with each other part way through.
13:10 Cornwall Council welcome.
13:15 Introduction of keynote speaker by Dr Dan Bloomfield.
13:20 Keynote speaker.
13:40 Nominees film.
A film showing the ‘shortlisted’ nominees, 1-2mins per company talking about what they have done related to the category they were nominated for.
14:00 Networking opportunity.
An opportunity for participants to meet and chat in various breakout rooms or 1-1.
14:15 Introduction to judging panel, by Dr Dan Bloomfield.
Explanation of the award’s presentation process. Judges will take it in turn to announce results per category.
Explanation of prizes & tree planting as part of Forest for Cornwall.
Presentation of awards.
1) Covid Response Award.
Explanation of category criteria. Indication of the number of nominees and the quality and range of entrants this year.
Announce winner & runner up including presentation of plaques.
2) Environmental Growth Award.
Explanation of category criteria. Indication of the number of nominees and the quality and range of entrants this year. Announce winner & runner up including presentation of plaques.
3) Circular Economy Award.
Explanation of category criteria. Indication of the number of nominees and the quality and range of entrants this year.
Announce winner & runner up including presentation of plaques.
4) Carbon Neutral Award.
Explanation of category criteria. Indication of the number of nominees and the quality and range of entrants this year.
Announce winner & runner up including presentation of plaques.
15:20 Closing remarks and thanks.
Presentation of fun prize for ‘best dressed’ / mini quiz.
