This FREE Taster Session is aimed at those working or interested in the principles and practices of design and craft, or for individuals whose roles involve these key responsibilities.
The session will enable you to explore the tactile and colourful world of textile craft and offer the opportunity to create one-off art works, which explore layers of meaning, mixed media and stitched surfaces.
The tutor will also introduce you to the content of the Level 4 SUCCESS module in Critical and Contextual Studies. You will develop your awareness of design theory and practice drawn from historical and contemporary contexts to understand their influence on art, design and craft production. These will be investigated and analysed through practical and hands-on approaches.??
