An opportunity to get involved in the development of a new course covering the systems design and specification of ground source heat pumps. The primary aim of this event is to gather together key industry players to discuss in detail the course content, assessment and accreditation processes to ensure they meet the needs of businesses, consultants and engineers in the sector.
The course will explore ways to evaluate different heat pump options and approaches for air, ground or open loop connections to suit a range of applications. Current content includes:
• Heat loss calculations, including options to reduce heat demand and understand the impact on heat pump design with steady state and dynamic modelling.
• Energy efficiency options within the system and the various benefits and challenges of these.
• System specification, including optimisation of the system sizing, distribution options, ground loop design and shared ground loop options.
• Latest developments in control systems.
Come along to find out more about the proposed course and to help us shape it to meet your needs.
