A Net Zero workshop for businesses from Cornwall Association of Tourist Attractions, and the wider Tourism, Food & Drink Industry.
Talking green: how to shout about the good stuff you are doing!
A workshop designed and delivered by University of Exeter on Penryn Campus, discussing how to talk about your sustainability mission and avoid greenwashing communication.
A workshop focused on effective communication around tourism, food and drink. Looking at embedding sustainability into your brand and telling your story in a way that educates consumers and customers effectively.
Communications and branding expert John Brown will cover topics about communicating your sustainability mission effectively, including:
- The dos and don'ts of sustainability messaging.
- Key tactics and techniques for avoiding greenwashing.
- Building a plan for how to apply this to your own organisation.
- Developing a “Plough to Plate” joint message within Cornwall.
- Use of social media to educate consumers.
This workshop is open to businesses working in the tourism, food and drink industry in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, with free lunch and refreshments provided.
