This event has the best of both worlds. Not only is this a great networking opportunity as the room will be filled with people who may be able to help you grow your business, but we also have an inspirational and informative speaker coming along to talk.
SPEAKER :
Lucy Jones, Co-Founder of The Cornish Food Box Company
Lucy Jones is a co-founder of The Cornish Food Box Company. Brought up in West Cornwall on a dairy farm, she went to Queens Mary’s University in London followed by working on political campaigns and community development projects. After having left Cornwall for more exotic climes she studied for her masters degree in Australia and went on to carry out research on coral reefs in Indonesian and Tanzania. Lucy set up the business with her sister Tor in 2010 to champion Cornish food and drink. Its innovative and sustainable approach has won them multiple awards and a loyal following. The business has become a leading supplier of Cornish produce within the UK, and is set to grow even further in the coming years with its range of hampers and holiday cottage products.

The pandemic has really hit the hospitality industry over the last year, which has understandably led to increased pricing. Due to this Cornwall Chamber has had to up their cost ever so slightly. For our members, the pricing will only go up if the cost per person has at the chosen venue. This will mean it may vary each month.
