Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is an approach that looks for and builds on what IS working and not on what isn’t. It seeks to define a positive question and then to answer it with actions that Accentuate the Positive. It comes out of the world of Emotional Intelligence and empathic leadership.
-
Do you get caught up in problem solving?
-
Is there a culture of blame where you work or live?
-
Do you feel that sometimes it is the symptoms not the causes that get addressed?
It can also be used to find common cause and build an initiative or project that makes best use of the assembled group in terms of their passion, skills and outcomes.
On this two-day course, Andy will be exploring those areas using AI and facilitating the creation of something meaningful and capable of being developed further whilst transferring skills.
This is an opportunity for a select group to define a question they want to explore and then use AI to positively ‘dream, design and action’ ideas that they bring forward.
It will be experiential learning in action and will engage the participants in creating their joint dream.
Who is it for?
Anyone with an open mind
