Description
Cornwall boasts more than 163 beaches and waterways, with the majority of coastline a designated site of some kind. It is crucial that a rapid and well coordinated response is executed in the event of a coastal oil pollution incident.
Propel has teamed up with marine spill response management specialists, REDS Group, to offer a free breakfast workshop discussing fuel and oil spills in the marine environment, improving awareness and mitigation.
REDS Group will lead us through the risk of pollution, obligations to mitigate these risks, response equipment and possible solutions, including a look over a REDS Group Incident Response vehicle.
This session would be of particular interest to boat yards, boat builders, trust harbours, marine contractors and service providers.
With only 20 spaces available, booking early is well advised. Priority is given to small to medium sized marine organisations. Interested marine users or large organisations are advised to contact us prior to booking and we will try to accommodate where we can.
For more information, please contact hello@propelcornwall.co.uk
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept business support intermediaries or other funded project staff.
Propel is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
