Join us for a free four-part workshop to support enterprises and practitioners evaluate the difference you make. Work with academics from the University of Exeter and University of St Andrews and learn how to use powerful data to evidence your impact.

They will provide an interactive and hands-on opportunity to develop the most appropriate evaluation for you and your enterprise.

What we will cover
Workshop 1: Before your evaluation
• What evaluation is and why you might conduct one
• Different types of evaluation and key concepts
• Defining the most appropriate outcomes
Workshop 2: Planning your evaluation
• Process of planning an evaluation
• Ethics and GDPR
• Making your evaluation fair and accessible
Workshop 3: Conducting your evaluation
• An introduction to social return on investment
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Participants' requests
Workshop 4: Using what you’ve learned
• Telling your story – using your evaluation
• Interpreting and presenting your data fairly
• Participants' requests
We will also discuss different technologies that can be used within an evaluation, and the use of publicly available data as part of an evaluation.
Following the four workshops, you will be able to:
• Plan the most appropriate and feasible evaluation approach for your enterprise (qualitative, quantitative, small scale, large scale)
• Understand the legal and ethical framework around collecting and storing data
• Analyse, interpret and use the data to help you develop and promote your enterprise
About The Inclusivity Project
The Inclusivity Project is a research and innovation project supporting inclusion, wellbeing, and prosperity for small Cornish businesses. It is led by the University of Exeter in partnership with Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership, Age UK and disAbility Cornwall, with funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
