These mornings are designed to inspire ideas and create the opportunity to mix with other influential business leaders encouraging valuable partnership and collaboration between businesses in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly.\n\n\n\nOur fourth club event discusses how to successfully design the next generation of services and products. Members will learn about how online conversations\, such as those from social media\, customer reviews of your existing offering and that of your competitors\, can provide businesses with those seeds of innovation in order to leapfrog the competition and create market leading design.\n\n\n\nNext\, we will look at prototyping and how 3D Printing can be used to bring your ideas to life and test them\, in order to design something that people really want and love.\n\nGuest speakers on the day include:\n\n\n\nPaul Howarth CEO at Pansensic\n\nPansensic collects and makes sense of millions of free text comments\, using a combination of AI technologies and a vast database of key words and phrases. They service a number of global clients\, such as the NHS\, Samsung\, GSK\, Pernod Ricard and Cadbury\, who use their deep insights to improve their organisations\, its products and services. They will show how the analysis of online data can be used to provide the seeds of innovation leading on to the products and services of the future.\n\n\n\nChris Booker Founder of Vital Spark Creative Ltd\n\nVital Spark Creative specialise in product design and development providing a 'concept to shelf' service. They work with both multinational blue chip companies and the individual\, to combine design flair\, innovation and manufacturing know-how in order to create products that not only look great\, but function brilliantly too. They are going to present a case study and share the benefits of using 3D printing throughout the design and prototyping process.\n\n\n\nThe Cornwall Innovation Club is run by Acceleration Through Innovation\, a University of Plymouth led project\, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and in Partnership with Cornwall Innovation.
