About Us

EHealth Productivity & Innovation in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly (EPIC) is a collaborative project partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund with additional financial support from the South West Academic Health Science Network. University of Plymouth, Creative England and partners aim to improve the use of eHealth in Cornwall.

We aim to improve the use of technology in both health and social care hoping:
> to improve health and wellbeing of people in Cornwall
> and improve the Cornish economy in this sector.

EPIC offers businesses:
> Access to specialised business support expertise from the digital and eHealth sector
> Access to experts in research areas critical for development of eHealth products and services
> Access to grant funding through the £600,000 EPIC Challenge Fund

The project team has leading academic expertise in:

> Commissioning and sustainability
> Robotics
