Wheal Jane is home to a host of mining and minerals companies, environmental consultants and mining related manufacturing. The knowledge and expertise that placed Cornwall at the forefront of industrial engineering lives on, the continuity with centuries of activity remains unbroken. Over 100 people work full time at the site, building and constructing mining equipment, analysing ore samples from all over the world, designing and implementing solutions to the environmental legacy of mining; and even manufacturing items from Cornish tin.
