SourceFM, Falmouth and Penryn's award-winning Community Radio Station is excited to announce that after 15 years, we are moving to brand new premises at Kimberley Park in 2025. Falmouth Town Council has secured £500,000 of Shared Prosperity funding for the refurbishment of Kimberley Park Lodge into a vibrant community and media hub. This initiative has been made possible through the grant from Cornwall Council from the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme, which it manages and is funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF).

This funding will deliver a new building ready for occupation. Once delivered, we will need to ensure that every corner of our new facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art industry-standard equipment and software, to not only bring the radio station up to date but to future-proof it for the local community and future generations. This crowdfunder will provide some of the necessary funding for that phase of the project.

Using cutting-edge new technologies and working with all ages from younger generations to those that have a lifetime of experience/ will allow us to bring fresh perspectives to the industry. This will enable us to support people of all ages and access needs with the training and the skills to equip them for opportunities to develop careers in radio and/or audio (podcasting, music production and similar). As well as supporting our volunteer-run radio station to continue to create, present and produce our award-winning shows.

Your contribution will not only enable us to meet our current needs but also lay the foundation for limitless possibilities in the future.

We want this to be a well-used community space and are already engaging with community groups to make this happen. There will be facilities to play, record and rehearse music or spoken word, to run classes - such as exercise, support groups and training courses making the ReSource media centre, truly a community hub.

Your donation will support our efforts and keep local radio in our towns and villages. Every donation helps.
Please also share to anyone who would be interested.

Join us in building a space where dreams are realised and creativity knows no bounds. Together, let's make our vision a reality!
