In the same week that marks dementia awareness and this year’s virtual Chelsea Flower Show, volunteers from The Eden Project and The Cornwall College Group (TCCG) are starting work with Cornwall Care to transform the first two of the charity’s sixteen gardens. Sue Aldridge is a kind, self-deprecating lady who has made a career out of helping others. As the manager of Penberthy, a residential home run by Cornwall Care in Newquay, she has been working night and day with her equally devoted team to keep COVID-19 at bay. Seven-year-old Phoebe Nelmes and her ten-year-old brother Mason love visiting Penberthy in Newquay.
