• North Coast Dinner at the Cove in October 2023

    On the north coast, in Hayle, on Friday 20th October, Chef Patron at the Cove, Rupert Cooper is hosting a fundraising dinner for the Fishermen’s Mission. It’s stunning location, wonderful view of the sea, the sands and St Ives and a venue known for great quality.

    Rupert will be joined alongside Ben Ambridge & Guy Owen to curate a fish inspired 5 course dinner. Guy, Executive Head Chef at the St Enodoc hotel has an incredible reputation for refined and superbly creative menus across the Southwest.
    Ben, Owner of The Fox’s Revenge & more recently ONDA in Wadebridge known for simple big, flavoured food.

    Together they have put together a fabulous menu, a celebration of Cornish fish.
    Cornish crab risotto, brown crab dressing & lemon pangra
    Teriyaki mackerel, Wasabi, cucumber, radish
    Zanzibar spiced roasted monk, squid ink baba gnaoush & pickled spring onion & dukka
    Prune & chocolate sticky pudding, creme fraiche ice cream & canded walnuts
