Cornwall Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to The Greenbank Hotel for our February BIG breakfast event!
The theme of this breakfast will be centered around People & Work Culture, and will no doubt be interesting to all work sectors, no matter what your business!

Steve Burgess, Managing Director of Neo People Management:
Steve has nearly 40 years of people management experience, both public and private sectors. He’s an all-round HR specialist within neo:pm.
After serving in the Royal Air Force, Steve moved into northwest social housing during the sectors private finance initiative and investment movement. Steve then joined Littlewoods as HR Director, during their operational and organisational modernising period, in retail, logistics and supply chain solutions. Shortly after, returning to public sector HR at Cornwall College whilst regularly partaking in national HR education projects.
Alongside Steve’s career, he became the inaugural Chair of the 157 HR Group in education, leading initiatives focusing on carbon reduction and sustainable operations. Steve became a regular HR specialist guest speaker at conferences across the country and by invitation, a lecturer for Exeter University.
In 2012 Steve set up Neo People Management initially based in the SW but currently delivering HR, HRIS and Payroll Services across the UK. Neo has over 30 employees and processes in excess of 30,000 payslips per calendar month as well as multiple HR clients.
Neo PM has been a Business Partner at the Chamber of Commerce since 2021.
Tim joined Cornwall Air Ambulance in 2021 having nearly 20 years’ experience working in and around the charity sector and over 10 years in leadership roles, his last role prior to becoming Chief Executive being at BBC Children in Need. With expertise in both Fundraising and Marketing, Tim has a wealth of knowledge to help the team meet the challenge of generating over £6m every year to deliver this lifesaving service.
Tim Bunting, CEO of Cornwall Air Ambulance:
Tim and his family have lived close to the base in St Mawgan for over 13 years and knows the importance of the work of the charity, having seen extended family and friends directly benefitting from the vital support the air ambulance provides.
Tim holds a Masters degree from the University of Nottingham, is a proud Rotarian and a distinctly average cricketer.
Sara Pugh, Managing Director of Eight Wire:
Sara is well-known in the Cornwall business landscape for her work on the boards of several institutions and as cofounder of one of Cornwall’s most successful marketing agencies — Eight Wire.
She also lecturers in business and entrepreneurship at Falmouth University and works as a personal development coach helping business owners to achieve their goals.
