Start a Conversation, Not a Monologue - How to switch the focus of your marketing copy and win more business!
This session will be led by Richard Hussey who has been a freelance copywriter for 13 years, working with businesses of all sizes. He also has a wealth of commercial and business management experience to bring to the discussion. Richard's aim is to dig below the hype and the hot trends to identify practical ways that smaller businesses can be more effective at marketing.

A bit of theory but much more of a discussion about your business and how to make the most of your opportunities through better marketing and communications.

· Thinking about your market - how many are actively in-market and how many are passive?
· What factors make a prospect actively look for solutions and how should you factor this into communications and content?
· How do prospects decide who to buy from? How should this affect your marketing plans?
· How to build website content around customers.
· Why being distinctive matters and how to do it.
· How to build preference and make your business less price sensitive.
