Camborne School of Mines – Business B...Description
Camborne School of Mines (CSM) at the University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus would like to invite businesses to a series of breakfasts around new technology and innovation in the mining sector, in a relaxed breakfast atmosphere at each bi-monthly session a different theme will be explored. An opportunity for businesses already in the sector and non-mining sector to network with academics.
Our first theme will be; The Digital Mine - How can technology and data be used to benefit the extractive industries in the future?
This may lead on to identifying opportunities for funding support and explore potential collaborations. The series of events may also include a visit to Boulby Potash Mine, Yorkshire. The breakfasts would be suitable for the following businesses;

Mineral processing firms

Manufacture of special-purpose machinery

Equipment for mining,
-
Consultancy companies

Tech based businesses with an interest in diversifying into mining.
There is no cost to attend this Future Focus and REMIX Interreg Europe event; it is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Breakfast pastries will be provided free of charge
Please note we may have limited two tickets per business due to demand.
There are eligibility criteria in order to attend the workshop, if we are unsure of your eligibility we will email to ask more questions and then to confirm your place.
