The housing crisis is impacting everyone; those unable to afford to buy or rent a decent home, those wanting to recruit new staff, those with younger family members wanting to stay in their local area or those living in diverse communities.
During this one-day conference, sponsored by Smartline, local and national speakers will discuss the systemic causes of this current housing crisis, and share real people's stories to understand the consequences on people’s lives.
What's on the agenda?
Drawing on the expertise of speakers, panellists and the audience, expect interactive sessions where we will explore issues and new approaches from diverse perspectives. Together we will explore potential solutions, approaches and options for providing more sustainable, affordable, healthier homes and communities for everyone.
We will open with a keynote presentation from Alastair Parvin, an internationally recognised speaker on the democratisation of housing.
Our interactive panels will have representation from local and national organisations, and we will share powerful stories from those whose lives are directly impacted. Full agenda coming soon...
Who should attend?
This informative conference is ideal for policymakers, businesses, community groups, employers, those involved in construction, wellbeing, planning and community work.
