This event is key for our members to ensure they can access the most up-to-date advice, support and be part of the debate around key issues affecting them. These events will be a series of interviews by Kim Conchie with renowned and recognised individuals.
Christian MayChristian is a Managing Director at Teneo, the global consultancy firm, where he advises some of the largest companies in the world on financial, communication and policy challenges. Prior to this he was Editor in Chief of City A.M., London's daily business newspaper where he led a team of 30 reporters for the past five years. During his time as Editor, Christian launched a number of editorial innovations including a redesign of the newspaper, development of a daily leader column, promotion of outside columnists and contributors and the launch of a popular podcast. City A.M's main editorial patches include international corporate, financial, economic and political news.
In addition to driving the newsroom Christian represented City A.M. at a wide range of events, conferences and private gatherings, and often spoke on topical financial and political matters to UK and international audiences. He is a regular contributor to Sky News and BBC programmes.
Christian was previously Head of Communications and Campaigns at the Institute of Directors. He is a Fellow of the British American Project and is an Advisory Board member of the Institute of Economic Affairs and the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange.
Christian was born and brought up on the Isles of Scilly before attending Truro School. He has a degree in Politics and a Masters degree in Journalism.
