This event is fully funded. Lunch will be provided. To be eligible for this session you must represent a business based in Cornwall.
The University of Exeter has been commissioned to deliver the EVOLVE FUTURES project on behalf of the Growth Hub by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) (1) as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme. The programme is delivered through the University of Exeter in partnership with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Cornwall Rural Community Charity and aims to improve the opportunities for enterprises across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly that aspire to good growth and to accelerate their development through the provision of expert business support.

Come and be inspired by innovative ideas and innovation theory. Learn about the circular economy. Network with like-minded entrepreneurs and get close to nature through bodyboarding.
The aim of the day is to give you a clear understanding of innovation and the circular economy, and to inspire you to set up a new venture or project.
You will learn about:-
Different types of innovation and the theory that underpins it.

Innovation in sustainability and circular economy.

Academic theory made relevant and accessible to your project through lots of case studies and examples.
Lunch will be provided, giving you a chance to network. In the afternoon, we will go bodyboarding so you the opportunity to process the content from the morning.
To be eligible for this session you must represent a business based in Cornwall or be a sole trader based in Cornwall.
This event will entail activities which have some risk associated with them. Please read the following advice and come prepared.-
Your session will be led by fully qualified instructors. Please listen carefully and follow instructions designed to keep you safe.
Please ensure you let us know of any health issues that we need to be aware of in order to keep you safe during the event.
