Join us and the Town Chambers for a discussion on the future of our towns.
We will be discussing the key issues that surrounds us today and how we can help reimagine our beautiful Cornish towns.
We will also be hearing form the Cornwall Chamber about news from around the county and the business world.
With the amount of passion we all have about how business savvy Cornwall is, this event is defiantly not one to miss. Book on if you would like to have your say in Cornwall's progressive future.
Speakers:
Michael Hawes
The St Austell Story
Saints Trails
A transformational investment by Highways England, in partnership with Cornwall Council, for four new multi-user trails, including links between Newquay, Perranporth, St Agnes and Truro. Building on the success of well-established cycle routes, such as the Camel Trail, these new routes will be built to a high standard and will predominantly be off road; enabling safe, healthy and fun journeys for commuters, families, school children and visitors.
The proposed works will:
• address long standing severance issues caused by the trunk road
• improve connectivity for non car-users
• extend the Cornwall tourism ‘offer’ for visitors and residents
• encourage healthy active lifestyles for all ages and users
• build on our legacy of environmental growth projects
• make it easier to cycle or walk, reducing congestion and improving air quality
