    Connected Cornwall 2018

People and businesses from the length and breadth of the Duchy are invited to join Cornwall Chamber of Commerce at this year’s Connected Cornwall event. Once more the event will be held at Healey’s Cyder Farm on 14 November 2018.

This event is sponsored by the ERDF and DIT funded Export for Growth project, which has seen fantastic success within Cornwall, assisting over 200 Cornish businesses in gaining new customers overseas.
Last year’s event was a huge success and made a lasting impression on our attendees, with 92% rating the event excellent and would attend again and 13.2k twitter impressions throughout the day.

This year, Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has shortened the day, following attendee feedback and organised a remarkable line up of 17 speakers delivering free, high-value implementable skills to take away on the day. Visitors can stay for as little or as long as they like, with an optional networking breakfast and lunch which are ticketed and booked separately. Healey’s is also offering attendees to the event an optional free cyder tour at the end of the day so for anyone not planning to go back to the office, get your wellies on and hop around the farm!

The fast-paced seminars offer a range of professional development session to inspire, educate and motivate audiences. The Chamber is delighted to have Google Digital Garage returning for a second year to give away digital skills workshops to help people grow in their career, and SMEs grow in their confidence online.
Other highlights include the ever-dynamic Nigel Barker skilling up attendees on all things digital, Dave McGuire from Radix Communications on the magic of copywriting, Samphire Amps on SEO and Mexico Chamber of Commerce speaking about opportunities for trading in Mexico.

Nick Aldworth will deliver a session on Highways England’s first Road Investment Strategy (RIS 1), which will explore how the programme serves economic wellbeing on both a regional and national level, its driving objectives, and crucially, what it means for delivery in Cornwall and the South West.

It's the not-to-be-missed event of the autumn
